8:30 Eastern

Jim Demint is maintaining a lead in South Carolina. With 71% in, Jim Bunning is behind Dan Margiano (sorry if I’m not spelling that right, not intentional) by 2 points.

Looks like the Dems will hold the North Carolina governor’s mansion. The Republican candidate looks like he’s about 12 years old.

Fox picks North Carolina and Virginia for Bush. So much for the “Edwards Effect.”

First numbers for Ohio are showing up. Bush leading, very small totals. Dish signal crappy, and severely pissing me off.

RE: Get Out and Vote. NOW! G– DAMNIT! NOW!

Just got an automated “Calling all Republicans” call from state GOP HQ. They claim they need two more votes for Bush per precinct to insure he gets Colorado’s electoral votes and that Pete Coors needs three more votes per precinct.

Not a good indicator, if correct.

So if you haven’t voted yet. GET YOUR A– IN GEAR! You’ve got 20 minutes.

    Regards,

There’s a Defiance County in Ohio. That’s pretty cool.

  7. Becky in Ohio Says:

They haven’t reported ANY of the counties in SW Ohio which is VERY RED (my whole county hasn’t had a Democrat in major office in my lifetime)…

  8. Scott in GA Says:

Kerry just went up in Ohio because Cuyahoga started reporting. They are the only county of any size reporting so far. Hey ‘Becky in Ohio’ isnt Franklin County in So. Ohio? If so, last I saw that was a 50/50 split – not good. Also, is Hamilton going to go strong enough Bush to offset Cuyahoga?

Ummm, I think we ARE experiencing the Edwards effect…….

Patrick Ballantine IS 12 years old.

And his defeat is no surprise to anyone.

Burr (R) looks like he’s ahead for the Senate, based on local TV.

Bunning is up by 14k (.8%) with 92.2% counted. I think he’s in.
