Early Returns

We had primary elections here in Georgia yesterday. It was a very quiet, low turnout election, particularly compared to 2004.

Ralph Reed, who was running for lieutenant governor, got clobbered, and Cynthia McKinney was forced into a run-off. So I’d say it was a pretty good day all around.

Excellent. 2 more chances to get that nutjob McKinney out of office, and Reed won’t even get in.

ou fail to mention the three-county passage of a “Fair Tax” referendum. This is a major story and we all need to pay attention…

That is a very good day. Ralph Reed is a wacko who thinks women shouldn’t even be allowed to work. Cynthia McKinney should be in jail. Let’s hope she at least loses her seat.

McKinney is a product of the Dem’s cynical “urban strategy” and should remain in Congress to remind the nation what that party is capable of producing in its mad grab for power.

I agree with VinceTN. She needs to stay in office as an example of the wonderful tolerance within the Democratic party.

BTW, I hate the AJC. I ditched my subscription with them a few years ago and refuse to visit their site since I can’t view articles without registering.
